Refund and Return Policy

We want every child to love what arrives in the box. If something is not right, here is exactly how returns and refunds work at My Montessori World, operated by Marketing DGTL, LLC.

The Essentials at a Glance

  • You have 14 days from the confirmed delivery date to request a return.
  • Items must be unused, complete, and in their original packaging.
  • No restocking fees, ever.
  • Return shipping is paid by you, except when we sent a damaged, defective, or wrong item, in which case the return costs nothing.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 4 business days of our inspection.

Step 1 — Request Your Return

Email contact@my-montessori-world.com within 14 days of delivery, with your order number and a short note explaining why you would like to return the item. Our team replies with a return authorization, the return address, and simple instructions.

Two important rules:

  • A return sent before receiving our authorization may not be accepted.
  • Use a tracked shipping service and keep your receipt. We cannot take responsibility for a returned parcel that never reaches us and has no tracking number.

Step 2 — Ship the Item Back

Pack the product securely, ideally in its original outer box, with every accessory and instruction sheet included. Items showing signs of use, missing parts, or arriving without their original packaging cannot be accepted.

Step 3 — Inspection and Refund

As soon as your parcel arrives, we inspect it and email you our decision. When the return is approved, your refund is processed within 4 business days to the payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional days to show on your statement. If nothing has appeared after that, check with your card issuer first, then write to us and we will trace the payment together.

Refunds cover the product price. Outbound and return shipping costs are not refundable, unless the return is due to our mistake.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item?

That is on us, entirely. Email contact@my-montessori-world.com with your order number and a few photos of the problem, ideally within 48 hours of delivery. We will either send a replacement or refund you in full, and we cover the return shipping. You will never pay to fix our error.

What Cannot Be Refunded

  • Parcels lost because the shipping address you entered was incorrect
  • Delivery refused at the door
  • Delays caused by carriers once the parcel has left our hands
  • Normal wear from use
  • Cosmetic damage to the outer packaging that does not affect the product
  • Items clearly marked as final sale

Cancelling an Order Instead

If your order has not yet entered preparation, we can cancel it with a full refund; email us as fast as you can with your order number. Once the parcel has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible, but you can simply receive it and start a return under the 14-day window described above.

Exchanges

We keep things simple: rather than processing exchanges, we ask you to return the original item and place a fresh order for the one you want. Your refund follows the standard process above.


Nothing in this policy limits the statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
